Candle Care Guide
I take a lot of care to produce these candle for you to enjoy. Please follow these simple tips to get the most out of your candles and ensure a safe, long-lasting burn. As they are hand made in Yorkshire they don't like any wastage!
First Burn
Allow your candle to burn until the entire surface has melted on the first use. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle.
Trim the Wick
Always trim your wick to 5mm before each burn. This helps control the flame size, reduces soot, and extends the life of your candle.
Burn Time
Avoid burning your candle for more than 5 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool completely before re-lighting.
Keep It Safe
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from children and pets.
- Place on a heat-resistant surface away from draughts, flammable materials, and other heat sources.
- Stop burning when 1cm of wax remains.
